"We were expecting beautiful...but this place is spectacular.
So much care and consideration has gone into the building of this valley retreat, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the cosy and comfortable villas. There are even a couple of resident alpacas and three rabbits that roam the garden. It's even more lovely than the photos show. Onsite housekeeper Yuly was so friendly and helpful, and owner Gustavo was very responsive with his recommendation for an excellent driver and transport for the 3 days. He provided exceptional customer service.
Another reviewer commented that this is the best place they stayed during their entire 6 month stay in South America... I would go further and say this is one of the best places we have stayed all over the world (and we have travelled a lot). Thank you so much, we came a very long way to be here and we very much hope to return one day".

Ubicación. Urubamba es más como un pueblo grande que como una ciudad, pero es el tamaño y la ubicación perfectos para llegar a las principales atracciones. Me sentí muy cómodo permitiendo a mis hijos deambular por la propiedad cerrada para interactuar con las alpacas (a poca distancia).

The accommodations were well-made and the hotel quality was high-end (none of the typical pretty but cheap finishes found in many Airbnb listings). Beautiful views of nature. You're in the mountains, but everything is extremely clean. Friendly hosts. Gustavo and his family make you feel at home and never a burden. Gustavo is a photographer and did a mini photoshoot and sent us the pictures free of charge! Probably worth a couple hundred dollars where we're from. Location. Urubamba is more like a large town than a city, but it's the perfect size and location for getting to the main attractions. I felt very comfortable letting my children wander around the gated property to interact with the alpacas (within walking distance)."

You can tell they hired a very good architect to design the house, which blends perfectly with the mountainous surroundings of the Urubamba Valley. It also has a beautiful view of the nearest Apu, Apu Chicon. In the garden, llamas and rabbits roam freely, adding to the harmonious atmosphere. As for the service, Yuly greeted us and was incredibly helpful, warm, and cheerful in all our interactions. She even puts the firewood in the living room and in your bedroom. It's my dream house! "Gustavo's house is an absolute gem. Close enough to Urubamba to get anything you need, but still far enough away to have your own little paradise. The free-roaming bunnies and alpacas out front were a great touch! There are a total of 4 properties/units here, but you still feel like the place is all yours. Gustavo and his team made sure every detail was taken care of and were always available for anything. The wood-burning stoves at night were fantastic. Wonderful stay!"
